wishing a happy birthday ;)
taking to the interwebs to wish a very happy birthday to pretty much my favorite person in the world and soon to be husband ;) you make me crazy happy and we always seem to have the best time even if we are just going grocery shopping. i'm almost certain that this is going to be the most exciting year yet and i love you very much.
sadly evil work schedules have made it so that we can't even see each other today (UGH, why do we work so much) so ill have to resort to online communication instead ;)

happy 4th of july!
happy 4th of july fellow americans! (and happy belated canada day canadians and happy early bastille day frenchies ;) i hope everyone is having an amazing holiday! i can't believe that it is july. where does time go anymore?
we had a pretty fun weekend spent at my annual family reunion on saturday and then attending our first indian wedding on sunday (mmm the FOOD). sadly today both bryan and i are back at work today (i gotta say i kind of love being the only one here in lab even if trying to put together a lab meeting for wednesday is about the most painful thing ever right now). hopefully i will be productive soon so i can get out of here and head home to get some well needed cleaning done!
how did you spend the holiday weekend?

sublime sunday
this morning, bryan and i got our tired and slightly hungover selves out of bed and drove back to philly (but not after trying to eat as much as possible at brunch to feel human again ;) it was a lovely weekend spent in the greenwich, CT area celebrating our friends wedding (bryan was a groomsman and was decked out in a sailboat print bowtie and cummerbund!) but it sure felt wonderful to get back home.
after lounging about for most of the afternoon, we rallied and went and saw the new Woody Allen film: Midnight in Paris. It was really charming and fun and I highly recommend. I also now need to get myself to Paris ASAP. then we headed to south philly for some supremely amazing mexican food. i think i smiled like a goon the entire evening. it was just one of those perfectly amazing nights where i just feel completely and utterly happy ;)
hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
